It was following an unfortunate accident in 2000 that Dean contemplated his future and in 2001 he became a Registered Builder.
He went on to build his own 3-story residential home in Mt Lawley, which lead to several other residential building projects for clients. As the owner of Debonaire Developments at the time, he worked directly with many homeowners to deliver plastering projects. Previous to this, Dean also spent 2 years supervising building units for Benex Constructions.
Dean is an expert in knowing not only how a building is constructed from the ground up, but the walls out. He’s one of our niche experts at Home Integrity for any complicated plaster defects.
Dean enjoys the variety of homes he inspects for Home Integrity. From old homes to palatial new homes – in all sizes, shapes, constructs and eras – no day is ever the same for Dean.
“Buyers need to know that just because a home is pretty on the outside does not mean its defect-free on the inside. I love that I can provide this clarity for clients” he says.
A great communicator, Dean enjoys helping people understand any issues related to their property in terms they can readily understand, bringing peace of mind to their purchasing decision.
“It’s not just myself that a Buyer is able to access when using Home Integrity,” says Dean, “it’s the knowledge of the entire team. The wealth of experience amongst our tight-knit team is something all Clients can benefit from”.
Fun facts:
Many people may not know that Dean is a twin. He’s also a proud father, regularly coaching and assistant coaching Amateur Football League for his four kids. His kids are also demonstrating a keen interest in his favourite sport of all, golf. “I’m pretty happy that the apples are not falling far from the tree” laughs Dean.
