New Home Construction

Inspections that are carried out at various stages of the construction to make sure that everything’s being done right, and generally in accordance with the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and the relevant Australian Standards. Building a house is a lot of work – potentially there’s a lot that can go wrong if the tiniest of things are overlooked at any various stages of the construction (particularly early on). Over time, faults that may have been overlooked as insignificant during construction can in the future become problematic. We find most builders are normally diligent and careful, but there’s always a chance that something crucial is not quite right. Independent building inspections are a very important part of constructing a safe, and structurally sound house.

Staged building Inspections

If you are building a new home and want to make sure you got what you paid for then Home Integrity can complete a staged building inspection and building report on your new home. This is generally a 4 stage process for a single story home and a 5 stage process for a double story home. Please note larger more complex homes may require additional inspections. This report can be issued to the builder which can form part of their remedial work if required.

Commercial Building and Strata Maintenance Building Reports

Buying a Commercial Property can be a daunting experience with potentially many hidden costs. Our Commercial Building Inspection Reports or Strata Maintenance Building Reports are so easy to read! When we find an issue we record the location of defect. Why it’s a defect. What type of defect is it, and most importantly what needs to be done about it and by whom. We even go one step further and estimate the cost of repair and priority.
