After opting for a full pre purchase inspection and pool/ fencing inspection, the building inspection was actioned promptly, we were happy with the outcome, even if we were shocked at how poorly maintained the house actually was.
The pool inspection was forgotten about and required our follow up to action (We called a couple of times to even get the results as the inspector did not provide the report on the day of inspection, as you do get with the building inspector), and when the pool inspector did finally arrive some time later to make their inspection of our future home (Which was actually vacant during the sale), the inspector advised the century 21 sales rep in Mindarie (Justin O’Connell) that the inspector did not need keys to the home as they were only checking the pool. When the inspector provided their results, there was questions raised by the inspector as to the properties self closing doors and windows, and their locks, as he stated that he did not have access to the house to check internally, and yet it was the inspector who stated that they did not need access intro home. Not Happy with this kind of oversight.
I would recommend the building inspection, but thoroughly avoid the use of their pool inspection, pointless waste of money. It raised only more questions about pool safety (Because he did not bother going into home to check those safety issues as he was paid to do), not any actual factual confirmations of issues.
